ALCHEMEAT Mongolian Steak

This recipe for ALCHEMEAT Mongolian Beef is our delicious take on an asian-inspired classic with real meat texture and a perfect umami flavor. Tender and juicy strips of delicious plant-based flank steak soaked in sweet and tangy sauce. 


Prep Time: 8 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Servings: 4



  • 1 lb ALCHEMEAT flank steak, cut into desirable pieces
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mushroom extract
  • 4 stalks scallions, cut into 2-inch pieces



  1. Add the oil to a large frying pan on medium to high heat.
  2. Add the ginger and garlic to the pan and sauté for 10-15 seconds.
  3. Add the soy sauce, water and dark brown sugar to the pan and let it come to a boil.
  4. Add the ALCHEMEAT steak in and let the sauce thicken for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Add the mushroom extract, green onions, stir to combine everything, and cook for a final 20-30 seconds. Serve and enjoy!
